This series is the result of a blurry night out in celebration of passing boards, then later realizing the morning after that I had dropped my phone… Bad, real bad.

A FAQ was “What filter/app do you use?”

CRCKDLENS really challenged my composition. I would rotate the camera phone to see if the cracks would run parallel with any objects or the architectural setting I was shooting or create a frame out of them.

In a deeper sense of artistic perspective, CRCKDLENS pushed me to see past the brokenness around me and realize the beauty within.
